What pressure washing actually is.
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to physically blast away dirt, staining, and buildup. It's a powerful tool, but may not be the best option for various surfaces of a home. Vinyl siding, painted wood, stucco, and roofs all need the gentle approach of soft washing instead. Pressure washing belongs on hard, durable surfaces that can take the force, and even then, the PSI, tip selection, and technique matter just as much as the equipment.
When we use pressure washing on a house
Unpainted brick, certain natural stone, concrete foundations and steps, and exposed aggregate or hardscape elements around the home can handle higher pressure when the situation calls for it. We assess each surface before we start and adjust pressure, distance, and tip to match. If a surface needs soft washing instead, we'll let you know.
What is a surface cleaner and why we use it.
A surface cleaner is a professional attachment that connects to our pressure washing machine. It uses spinning nozzle bars under a protective housing to deliver uniform cleaning across flat surfaces such as concrete driveways, sidewalks, patios, and pool decks.
